Proverbs 31:10-31

A wife of noble character who can find?
       She is worth far more than rubies.

 Her husband has full confidence in her
       and lacks nothing of value.

She brings him good, not harm,
       all the days of her life.

She selects wool and flax
       and works with eager hands.

She is like the merchant ships,
       bringing her food from afar.

She gets up while it is still dark;
       she provides food for her family
       and portions for her servant girls.

She considers a field and buys it;
       out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.

She sets about her work vigorously;
       her arms are strong for her tasks.

She sees that her trading is profitable,
       and her lamp does not go out at night.

In her hand she holds the distaff
       and grasps the spindle with her fingers.

She opens her arms to the poor
       and extends her hands to the needy.

When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
       for all of them are clothed in scarlet.

She makes coverings for her bed;
       she is clothed in fine linen and purple.

Her husband is respected at the city gate,
       where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.

She makes linen garments and sells them,
       and supplies the merchants with sashes.

She is clothed with strength and dignity;
       she can laugh at the days to come.

She speaks with wisdom,
       and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

She watches over the affairs of her household
       and does not eat the bread of idleness.

Her children arise and call her blessed;
       her husband also, and he praises her:

"Many women do noble things,
       but you surpass them all."

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
       but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Give her the reward she has earned,
       and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

 Delicious Dinner Rolls
Ingredients:
3 to 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Butter or margarine, melted

Directions:
In large mixer bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour and the yeast. In saucepan, heat milk, sugar, salt and 1/3 cup butter or margarine until warm (115 to 120 degrees) and butter is almost melted; stir constantly. Add to flour mixture; add eggs. Beat at low speed of electric mixer for 1/2 minute, scraping sides of bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes at high speed. Stir in as much of remaining flour as you can mix in with a spoon. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead in enough of the remaining flour to make a moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic (6 to 8 minutes total). Shape into a ball. Place in lightly greased bowl; turn once to grease surface. Cover; let rise in warm place until double (about 1 hour). Punch down; divide dough in half. Cover, let rest 10 minutes. On lightly floured surface, roll each half of the dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with a floured 2 1/2 inch round cutter. Brush with melted butter. Make an off-center crease in each round. Fold so large half overlaps small half slightly. Place rolls, with large halves up, side by side in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Cover, let rise until nearly double (about 30 minutes). Bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until done.
